Meet the 2023 Honda HR-V

The HR-V shares many of the same design components with the ever-popular Civic, including the same standard 2L inline-four engine that is capable of producing 158 horsepower, available in standard FWD but upgradable to AWD across all trim levels. The engine is rated at an average of 26 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway for FWD powertrains, while AWD HR-Vs clock in at 25 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.

What’s New for 2023?

The HR-V received a total refresh for the 2023 model year, with a new grille, headlights, door handles, tires, and various other minor exterior elements giving the SUV a sleek and modern look. The standard engine is also a new addition to the HR-V, and the rear suspension has been updated to be fully independent, providing additional support and smoothing out your ride.

The interior has also received an update and now comes standard with a 7-inch digital instrument gauge display behind the steering wheel and a separate 7-inch touchscreen infotainment center that can be upgraded to a larger 9-inch screen.
