Our city of Orangeburg, SC is located on the north fork of the Edisto River, 37 miles southeast of Colombia, SC. Prince of Orange Mall
Located just on the edge of the city limits, this mall is our largest regional mall. It comprises 336,000 square feet of retail space, and its anchor tenant is a large Belk store. In addition, there are 28 other stores, including rue21, Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, and Trenz. Our state is known for its military-friendly atmosphere, and the US Army, Navy, and Marines all have recruitment offices here.
Visiting a mall can be tiring, and when you’re hungry, McDonald’s, Adrian’s, and Hot Wok are some of the great places to grab a bite. Secure parking is easily available outside the mall. You can find Prince of Orange at 2390 Chestnut Street, Orangeburg.
Five Rivers Market
Five Rivers opened in 2011 and is one of our favorite neighborhood malls. There are 40 vendors here, and you can find unique gifts, boutique clothing, home decor, art, and many other items. In addition, the market houses the largest bookstore in town, Swift Books. If you’re looking for gift ideas, this market has a varied selection of ideas for you to choose from.
You can also buy food items produced within our community, including jams, spices, honey, and specialty meats. The Cupside Cafe provides a relaxing space to have coffee and snacks. Five Rivers is located at 950 Chestnut Street, Orangeburg.
Andrae’s Jewelers
Andrae’s is one of the oldest jewelers in the US, as it opened in Orangeburg in 1888. The store is now in its fourth generation of family ownership. They’re a full-service jewelry store offering retail, wholesale, repairs, and custom design and manufacture. You can also buy and sell gold, platinum, and precious stones here.
They call brand-name jewelry from Kattan, Stuller, Rembrandt Charms, and others. In addition, they also sell and repair watches and can appraise jewelry and precious metals for you. Andrae’s can be found at 1135 Russell Street, Orangeburg.
