Power and Performance

Coming standard on the CR-V is a turbocharged 1.5L inline-4 engine, making 190 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque. A smooth and responsive continuously variable transmission ensures ample power throughout the revs and can help achieve an EPA-rated 34 MPG highway. An available hybrid powerplant pairs a 2.0L inline-4 with two electric motors for a boost in performance.

All CR-V models are available with Honda’s Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System, which improves traction by sending extra torque to the rear wheels when needed. Complementing this system is hill descent control and a fully independent suspension consisting of MacPherson struts in front and a multi-linked setup in the rear.

Interior

One of the CR-V’s highlights is its sleek and spacious cabin that has no problem comfortably seating five adults. Like many new Honda vehicles, it sports distinctive and stylish honeycomb venting that stretches across the dashboard. A 7-inch digital instrument panel displays various vehicle stats without looking cluttered. The large center console acts as a comfortable armrest while featuring multiple trays for holding smaller items.

Automatic climate control and ambient lighting come standard on the LX model, and most trims feature heated front seats 10-way power adjustability, and lumbar support for the driver. Leather-wrapped seats with orange stitching can be found in the Sport-L and Sport Touring models.

Infotainment System

A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with speed-sensitive volume control, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration, and Bluetooth technology is standard. Other trims add support for SiriusXM satellite radio and HD Radio. With satellite-linked navigation, a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, the Sport Touring is the most tricked-out model.

Safety

When it comes to driver-assistance technology, the CR-V sets itself apart from its rivals by including an impressively long list of standard systems. Along with forward collision warnings, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking, the vehicle adds advanced features, such as a traffic sign recognition system and a driver attention monitor. Just about every trim comes with a blind spot and rear cross-traffic monitoring, as well.

The standard lane-keeping assistance system includes traffic jam assist, able to provide light steering adjustments to keep you safely within your lane at low speeds.

The handsome CR-V is sure to win over any driver with its capable, efficient powertrains and plush riding experience. Contact Superior Honda in Orangeburg, SC today and we’ll set you up with a test drive!
